Our partner outing was one of the best to date because we finally travelled out of kuala lumpur and had a little taste of history and the sun. Not only was malacca scorching hot, the a/c in the car we rented was out. Nonetheless, we had a blast by eating, eating and more eating. This state should not be known for its history but it ought to be famous for it delicious FOOD!
It was non stop eating all the way. From the sweet chendol, to the wonderous chicken rice ball and all the way back to my portuguese settlement where we had the magnificent seafood prepared by my uncle, and im suprised that everyone in the settlement remembers me! considering that i havent been back in years since my dad passed on.. it certainly was a great welcome home thought.
oh oh oh and also the non halal satay chelup where i almost ate a pig's tongue >.< yucks

Jonker's street at night was amazing cause of all the caucasian eye candies ;) hehe
Instead of shopping for myself, i ended up helping sanen look for souvenirs for his family, well its not like there were anything interesting for me to buy.
There wasnt any rest back at the apartment once we got back. Everybody went down by the pool and had beers, and sanen was the only one pissed drunk cause he was smart enough to chug down a whole can and not puke and burp, fai and juma were a little high too :D haha damn funny cause they started their world class drag act after a bottle, and we all laughed at nothing.
I'm gonna miss that night. A lot.

I think there definitely is a thing of having more than one home, in my case i have 4 homes that i belong to, and it looks like i left a piece of my heart in malacca.

PHEEWHHHH.
these past 2 weeks have been a handful,
work has been hectic (not that im complaining)
and you'd think i'd get some rest after work, think again.
after work has been filled with late night hang outs, EVERYDAY.
and by the time i get home, i pass out, only to wake to another hectic day of work.
And if you think it's a blessing to have weekends off, think all over again, if it's not spending more time with your friends, it's running errands all day long. And, after you've finished them errands, you've got your friends waiting for you at the end of the day, to hang some more :D
my sleep time has been unbalanced.

It's friday, works done, and im off to malacca for a whole weekend tomorrow.
It's our partner's outing! yay! i'm all super excited for it. I need any form of vacation time right now, although it'll be a crowded vacation with 9 of us all together, i'd take any given to me right now.

oh oh and im super super duper superwoman excited cause my mom's promised to get me a macbook pro! and i didnt have to begggg for it! yeeehaw..
i've been goin roun apple retails looking about the one i want, saw one i really fancied :D:D
in time..in time..

I must be the happiest girl alive at this hour right now.
They played all the songs that i wanted them to play! fuhhh damn amazing lah that band.
This was probably one of the most laid back concerts that i've been to because i wasn't a maniac jumping and shouting, like i always do at every gig im at, although i did shout out all the lyrics to their song :D
but still, i was there mainly just layaning all their music. It's nice to enjoy this band live, because for one, they can really play live
two, ariel can really sing live
three, ariel and uki damn hot, you can call the paramedics cause i'll melt and faint.
and four, the music is meant to be layan'ed like your laying down on grass, and it would be the most perfect music played out loud.

Something that ticked me off was the MALAYSians. I hate the way malaysians go for a concert, come to see a band, and what do they do? Sit down 'dengan cara bersila'. If you want to sit down, then go home lah babi, or i'll step on you till you cry out 'ampun alexis'. PFFT.
anyhoo, dont wanna let these stoopid MALAYsians spoil my mood ;) *no offence to my friends, i'm just ratting out on those random people, if you know what i mean*

My 20th birthday was hands down one of the best nights of my life.
It wasn't as huge as you might of thought. No, i did not have a birthday bash and no, i did not party all night long at clubs. Instead, i got to spend the whole weekend quietly with my lovely best friends. Quiet and sweet.
On the eve of my birthday, Fai, Ho, Jan, Thanesh, Juma, Lis and i went out to nz to have our char kuey teow supper and suprisingly enough, me and lis smelled something fishy the moment jan, thanesh, fai and ho got up to buy "so called" "Ciggarettes". We spotted them afar carrying a box of cake. The Suprise was a bust cuz we found out but it was still sweet, they sang a birthday song to us and we blew them candles and fed everyone delicious cake :D
I started to fall sick on the way home and got an exception on the flour bombing ritual, as i saw, it wasn't only lis who got bombed but everyone else and ho's car ;)

Sadly i was ill on the day of my birthday, but still managed to head out to chillies because mummy wanted to treat my friends for lunch, so it was Fai, Jan, Ho, Thanesh who joined. We all had big yummylicious meals and even had a birthday song courtesy of the chillies crew. Our table was filled of fun chatters and laughter, an amazing sight to see.
We got home by evening, cuz uncle arild was to leave for norway on the same day. So, i thought that was the end of my short and sweet birthday, but wait, there's more..
We were all hanging in my room, till thanesh, fai and jan finally arrived and said they had a magic show for our birthday, i was already ill so imagine me lying on a bed.
Jan took out a piece of paper, and burned it, the fire that broke was quick and 2 pieces of paper came out of his hands, jan handed them to lis, and as lis said what was written on those paper out loud, i stood up, with all my might. It was indeed TWO FRONT ROW TICKETS TO PETERPAN'S CONCERT NEXT COMING WEEKEND!

I screamed my lungs out, because they knew what i wanted so badly at that time. When i asked who bought them? they said they all pitched in including juma! OMG SUCH AWESOME FRIENDS I HAVE!!
one of the best birthday gift ever. period.
and now, i'm all excited to see peterpan's gig next week! eek!

like i said, it's not how you spend it, it's who you spend it with.
im so blessed to have great friends like them in my life.
they fill my dull portrait with colours of paradise and they're always there for me and lis through our good and bad times.
LOVE YOU PEOPLE LONG TIME.
